Tabletop Nonograms Support
A little help getting back to the puzzle.
Tabletop Nonograms is a picture logic puzzle game for iPhone and iPad, published by Dank Investments LLC. If the steps below do not resolve your question, email hello@dankinvestments.net. You can also reach this page from the game: Settings > About > Help & support.
Getting started
Numbers beside each row and column describe consecutive groups of filled squares. Leave at least one empty square between groups. Combine the row and column clues to reveal the picture; the included puzzles can be solved with logic, without guessing.
Open Settings > How to play to replay the guided lesson. There are no timers or lives, and every puzzle pack is available from the start.
Finding a puzzle and picking up where you left off
- Home shows how many of the 256 pictures you have found, overall and for each size.
- The large card on Home holds the puzzle you played most recently and have not finished. Tap Resume to carry on exactly where you stopped. The puzzle before it is listed just underneath.
- When nothing is in progress, the card shows Today's puzzle, a new 10×10 each day. Missing a day costs nothing.
- Puzzles shows every pack, or every size, as a tile. Each tile fills in with colour as you finish its pictures. Tap a tile to see its puzzles, and filter them by difficulty.
Marking cells and correcting mistakes
- Switch between Fill and Cross out, then tap or drag across cells. Crosses help you keep track of empty squares but are not required to finish.
- Use Undo and Redo to change a move. Start again clears the current board and can itself be undone.
- Pinch to zoom, use two fingers to pan, or choose Fit to screen. Precise touch lets you position a target above your finger for smaller cells.
- In Settings, you can turn on Show mistakes or Cross out finished lines, adjust text size, use left-handed controls, and change sound or haptic options. Showing mistakes does not end your puzzle.
Progress, daily puzzles, and offline play
Progress is saved automatically on your device, including a puzzle you have not finished. Completed pictures appear in your Gallery. You can play the included packs, today's puzzle, and endless puzzles offline. Purchases, advertising, and iCloud sync need their online services to be available.
iCloud sync
When available and enabled, Settings > iCloud sync shares puzzle progress with your other devices using the same Apple Account. Check that iCloud is available on each device and allow time for Apple to sync. If a device is offline or sync is unavailable, you can keep playing with its local save; Settings shows the sync status.
After an iCloud account change, syncing pauses. Review the account before choosing Use this iCloud account and confirming Merge, as this combines local progress with that account's progress. Settings preferences are not synced.
Before erasing progress: with sync on, Erase all progress propagates a reset to your other synced devices when syncing is available. Turning sync off does not delete an existing iCloud copy, and deleting and reinstalling the app does not guarantee a fresh start. Contact us before taking destructive troubleshooting steps if you are unsure.
Remove Ads and restore a purchase
Remove Ads is an optional, one-time App Store purchase. It removes both the menu banner and the ads between completed puzzles. There are no subscriptions or paid hints.
If you already bought it:
- Make sure the App Store is using the Apple Account that made the purchase.
- Connect to the internet and open Tabletop Nonograms.
- Open Settings > Ads and choose Restore purchase.
- Allow the App Store to verify ownership; Apple may ask you to sign in.
Restoring a purchase you already own does not charge you again. If restoring fails, try again when you have a connection. If the problem continues, email us with your app version and the message shown. Never send your Apple Account password or payment details.
Refunds are handled by Apple. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Ads and privacy choices
The free game can show a banner on menu screens and an occasional ad after you leave a completed puzzle, never while you are marking the grid. Ads do not appear in the first 20 minutes after the first launch. Whether an ad appears later depends on consent, purchase verification, connectivity, and whether an ad is ready; a missing ad does not mean anything is wrong.
Where available, open Settings > Privacy choices to manage Google's consent options. Apple tracking permission can be reviewed in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. Playing does not require you to allow tracking.
If the app is not behaving as expected
- Close and reopen the app.
- Install the latest App Store update.
- Restart your iPhone or iPad and try again.
- For purchase or sync issues, check your connection and the Apple Account in use.
Avoid deleting the app or erasing progress as a first step, as local progress may be lost. We cannot recover a save that exists only on your device.
Contact and privacy
Email hello@dankinvestments.net with your device model, iOS version, app version, and a short description of what happened. The app version is at the bottom of Settings, under About. A screenshot can help; remove any personal information first.
Read the Tabletop Nonograms Privacy Policy for how local saves, optional iCloud sync, purchases, and advertising are handled. The open-source software inside the game is credited under Settings > About > Licences.
