Crownfall Privacy Policy

Dank Investments LLC ("we", "us") makes Crownfall: The Ashen Oath ("the app"). This policy explains what information the app handles and why.

Crownfall is currently in development. Current test builds use Google's test ad units; production advertising and the Remove Ads purchase are not yet activated. We will update this policy if the release configuration changes its data practices.

The short version

• We don't ask for your name, email or an account in the app, and we don't run our own servers for it. Your progress stays on your device.
• The app integrates Google AdMob. Google's SDK may collect device and usage information to show, secure and measure ads, as described below.
• Purchases, such as Remove Ads if offered, are processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Information stored on your device

The app saves your game progress, settings and preferences locally on your device. This data is not sent to us. If you use Settings → Comfort → Saves & Backup to create a transfer code, that code is generated on your device and only goes wherever you choose to paste it.

Deleting the app removes its local saved data. Transfer codes you have copied elsewhere, or device backups you control, may retain separate copies. The app does not provide automatic cloud synchronization.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK for optional reward ads and occasional ads between battles. To provide, measure and secure advertising, Google and its advertising partners may process:

• Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier (IDFA) only where iOS tracking authorization permits it, and other app- or developer-bounded identifiers
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• Device and app information
• Ad views and interactions, app interactions associated with advertising, crash information and performance diagnostics
• Consent and privacy choices

This processing supports advertising, measurement, fraud prevention and, where permitted by your choices and applicable law, personalization. Test ads still use Google's SDK; using test ad units does not mean no information is processed.

The app requests a Google privacy/consent update before initializing ads and presents a consent message where required and available, for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland. If that update fails, the current implementation continues gameplay without initializing ads. You can review applicable choices in Settings → Store → Ad Privacy Choices. You can also manage tracking permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

Purchases

When in-app purchases are offered, Apple processes them and supplies purchase-entitlement information to the app. We do not receive your name, Apple ID, card or payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

The current pre-release build does not offer an active Remove Ads product. Its planned behavior is to remove automatic between-battle ads while leaving reward ads as an explicit player choice. It is not a promise that all advertising SDK activity stops after a purchase.

What we don't do

We don't sell your personal information. We don't use analytics or tracking tools of our own in the app. We don't collect contacts, photos, precise location, microphone or camera data. Advertising-related processing by Google is described separately above.

Support messages

If you email us, we receive the email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to answer your request and investigate the issue, and retain them as needed for support and applicable obligations. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details or identity documents.

Children

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. A parent or guardian with a privacy concern can contact us below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, or to object to certain processing. We do not receive your local gameplay saves, so deleting local data and controlling any transfer codes or backups is normally how you manage that information.

For advertising data, use the app's applicable privacy choices and Google's privacy controls. You can also contact us with questions or requests, including requests about support correspondence.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date.
