Common questions
Which devices does Delve run on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS or iPadOS 17 or later, and Windows PCs.
Can I play with a controller?
Yes. Compatible Xbox, PlayStation, and Switch Pro controllers are supported, as are compatible phone-grip controllers such as Backbone and Razer Kishi. With Xbox-style labels, the left stick moves, A dashes, X examines, and Menu pauses. In menus, use the D-pad or stick to move, A to choose, and B to go back. Button labels vary by controller.
How do I change the length of a Quick Delve?
Select Quick on the main menu, then select it again to step through 3, 5, 7, and 10 minutes. Only 3-minute Quick runs are ranked on your personal bests and on Game Center, so every score on that board is a fair race.
Where is my progress saved?
The game saves progress on your device. On supported iPhones and iPads, when you are signed in and Apple's services are available, it can also mirror your save through Game Center's saved-game service in iCloud and retrieve it on another device.
Do not delete the game as an initial troubleshooting step: local progress may be lost, and a cloud copy may not include your latest changes. Removing the app does not itself erase an existing Apple cloud copy. We cannot recover a save held only on your device.
Leaderboards, achievements, or cloud saves aren't showing
Make sure you are signed in to Game Center in your device's Settings. For cloud saves, also check that iCloud is available for the account you intend to use. Check your connection, then restart the game. New scores and saves can take time to appear. These Apple services are not available through the Windows game.
The game feels too intense or hard to read
Open Settings in the game. You can turn on Reduced Motion, switch the warning color to one that is easier to tell apart, turn haptics on or off, move the dash valve to the left side, and lower the frame rate to save battery.
I got a new phone. How do I get Delve again?
Use the same Apple Account that bought Delve to redownload it from your App Store app library, where available. See Apple's redownload instructions. Downloading the game again is separate from restoring saved progress.
How do I request a refund?
Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with the Apple Account that made the purchase.
Privacy
Delve has no ads or cross-app tracking. Apple services can handle scores, achievements, and cloud saves as described in the Privacy Policy.
